【英文寫作練習】"Obama speech" from BBC in 2017.1.11

This is my first English writing practice in this blog. I'll try to write something to a news or TED talk every week, or and I'll put the news link at the top of this article.
The news I select is I think I should but I never care about, so there are a lot of stupid opinion and idea in the article.

Obama speech: Democracy needs you, says outgoing president

This news was talking about Obama's speech in Chicago, and it simply introduced who was Obama, what he did during these four years, and what he said in this speech. In addition to the second part, there was a comment from BBC's reporter Nick Bryan.
Actually, it was hard for me to comment on this speech because I had no idea about the politics of Unite States. I knew Obama in 2012 while I was a high school, and I also knew the race problem in the country. So it was surprised me that American elected an African-American to be their president. It was a great thing to me at that time. I also knew there were many America didn't like him because of his policy during this years, and finally, his policy made the new president, Trump. However, I didn't know why American became more and more hate him. I thought my ignorance was because the news in Taiwan never talked about important news in other countries and that I was a lazy person who saw reading English news as a trouble.
